Terms of service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of JhoukyJeks.store, as well as any purchases made through the website.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing the website or purchasing a product from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

1. About Us

The website JhoukyJeks.store is operated under the trading name Jhouky Jeks.

Trading name: Jhouky Jeks
Website: JhoukyJeks.store
Email: contact@JhoukyJeks.store

References in these Terms to “Jhouky Jeks”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to the legal business operating JhoukyJeks.store.

References to “you” or “your” refer to the person accessing the website or purchasing products from us.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • Your use of JhoukyJeks.store;

  • Any account created on the website;

  • Product enquiries;

  • Orders submitted through the website;

  • Payments made through the website;

  • Delivery of products;

  • Returns, refunds and cancellations; and

  • Any other interaction between you and Jhouky Jeks relating to the website.

Additional terms may apply to particular promotions, competitions, services or products. Where additional terms apply, they will be made available before you participate or complete your purchase.

If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the terms specifically applicable to the relevant product, promotion or service will take priority.

3. Eligibility to Use the Website

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order.

If you are under 18, you may only use the website and place an order with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

By submitting an order, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method; and

  • You have legal capacity or appropriate permission to enter into the transaction.

4. Website Access

We provide access to the website on a temporary basis.

We may update, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary for:

  • Maintenance;

  • Security;

  • Technical improvements;

  • Changes to our products or business;

  • Compliance with legal requirements; or

  • Events outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption where practical.

5. Acceptable Use

You must use the website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems;

  • Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code or harmful technology;

  • Interfere with the proper operation or security of the website;

  • Use automated systems to scrape, copy or extract content without permission;

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;

  • Use stolen or unauthorised payment information;

  • Place orders for resale where we have reasonably restricted a promotion to personal use;

  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights;

  • Submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or obscene content; or

  • Use the website in a way that may cause damage to Jhouky Jeks or another person.

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

6. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, prices and other information are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device and display settings;

  • Minor variations may occur between product photographs and the delivered product;

  • Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise;

  • Packaging may differ from images shown;

  • Products may be updated or improved by the manufacturer; and

  • Handmade or naturally produced items may contain reasonable variations.

Any variation will not affect your statutory rights where a product is materially different from its description, not of satisfactory quality or not fit for purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing the product description, sizing information, materials, care instructions and other relevant details before ordering.

7. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Placing a product in your basket does not reserve it.

We may limit the number of products available to each customer, household, payment method or delivery address where reasonably necessary to:

  • Manage limited stock;

  • Prevent fraud;

  • Prevent misuse of promotions; or

  • Ensure fair availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after you submit an order, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for that product.

We will not substitute a product without your agreement.

8. Prices

Product prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless another currency is clearly stated.

Prices include VAT where VAT is applicable.

Delivery charges and any other mandatory costs will be displayed before you place your order.

We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.

A price shown on the website may occasionally be incorrect because of a technical, administrative or supplier error.

If we identify an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may:

  • Contact you and offer the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price; or

  • Cancel the affected order and refund any payment received.

We will not cancel an accepted order solely because we later decide that the agreed price was commercially unfavourable.

9. Promotional Offers and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, including:

  • Validity periods;

  • Minimum purchase values;

  • Product exclusions;

  • Customer eligibility;

  • Geographic limitations; and

  • Limits on the number of uses.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions cannot be combined;

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Discount codes must be entered before payment;

  • Discounts cannot normally be added retrospectively;

  • Promotions are subject to product availability; and

  • Delivery charges are not included in percentage discounts.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion before an order is placed.

We will not retrospectively remove a valid promotion from an order that has already been accepted.

We may reject the use of a promotional code where we reasonably determine that it was obtained, distributed or used fraudulently.

10. Placing an Order

The products displayed on our website constitute an invitation to place an order and are not, by themselves, a contractual offer.

To place an order, you must:

  1. Select the products you wish to purchase;

  2. Review your basket;

  3. Provide the required contact, billing and delivery information;

  4. Select an available delivery method;

  5. Select a payment method;

  6. Review the total price and order details; and

  7. Submit the order using the payment or order-confirmation button.

Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to identify and correct input errors.

You are responsible for checking that all information is correct before submitting the order.

11. Order Acknowledgement and Contract Formation

After you submit an order, we will normally send an automatic acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, the contract between you and Jhouky Jeks is formed when we send you confirmation that the order has been dispatched.

If an order contains multiple products dispatched separately, a separate contract may be formed for each product when its dispatch is confirmed.

Your order, these Terms, the relevant product information, our Returns and Refunds Policy and our dispatch confirmation form part of the contract.

We will provide confirmation of the contract in a format that you can retain, normally by email.

12. Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • The product is unavailable;

  • Payment cannot be authorised;

  • The delivery address is incomplete or outside our available delivery area;

  • We identify an obvious price or product information error;

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;

  • The order breaches a clearly disclosed purchase limit;

  • The order appears to involve misuse of a promotion;

  • We cannot legally supply the product; or

  • You have materially breached these Terms.

Where payment has already been taken for an order that we do not accept, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.

We will not refuse or cancel an order for an unlawful or discriminatory reason.

13. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate;

  • You are authorised to use the payment method;

  • Sufficient funds or credit are available; and

  • The payment provider may process the transaction.

Payment may be processed by an independent payment provider.

We do not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details where payment is processed through an external payment service.

Your payment may be subject to additional checks by your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

We are not responsible for delays caused solely by your financial institution or payment provider, unless we have failed to act with reasonable care.

14. Payment Authorisation

Submitting an order authorises us and our payment partners to request payment or place an authorisation hold for the total amount shown at checkout.

A temporary authorisation is not necessarily a completed charge.

Where an order is cancelled, any authorisation hold may take additional time to disappear from your account. The timing is controlled by your bank or payment provider.

We will not impose undisclosed additional charges or pre-selected optional payments.

15. Delivery

Available delivery options, estimated delivery periods and delivery charges will be presented at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates begin after the order has been accepted and processed.

Unless a different period has been agreed with you, we will deliver goods without undue delay and normally within 30 days after the contract is formed.

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree that delivery by a particular date is essential.

We will notify you where we become aware of a material delay.

Please review our Shipping Policy for further information about:

  • Processing periods;

  • Delivery options;

  • Delivery estimates;

  • Tracking;

  • Failed deliveries;

  • Address errors; and

  • International deliveries, where available.

16. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Contact us immediately if you identify an error.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order enters the fulfilment or dispatch process.

Where an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you causes a parcel to be returned, we may charge reasonable additional delivery costs before resending it, where legally permitted.

This does not apply where the delivery problem was caused by us or the delivery provider acting on our behalf.

17. Delivery Attempts and Collection

You may be required to:

  • Accept delivery;

  • Collect the parcel from a designated location;

  • Provide delivery instructions;

  • Provide proof of identity; or

  • Cooperate with reasonable delivery arrangements.

If delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may leave instructions or attempt delivery again.

Failure to collect or accept a parcel does not automatically cancel the contract.

Contact us if you wish to exercise your cancellation rights.

18. Risk and Ownership

The products become your responsibility when they are delivered to:

  • You;

  • A person identified by you to receive them; or

  • A carrier independently appointed by you, where that carrier was not offered by us.

Ownership of the products will pass to you when we have received payment in full and the products have been delivered, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

19. Your Right to Cancel

Consumers purchasing online normally have a statutory right to cancel eligible orders without giving a reason.

You must normally tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

After notifying us, you must normally return the goods within a further 14 days.

Certain products are excluded from the change-of-mind cancellation right, including some:

  • Personalised products;

  • Custom-made products;

  • Perishable products;

  • Sealed hygiene-sensitive products after unsealing; and

  • Other products excluded by applicable law.

Full cancellation, return and refund information is provided in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not as described or not fit for purpose.

20. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Where you validly cancel an eligible order, we will provide the refunds required by applicable consumer law.

For change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this was disclosed before purchase.

We may make a reasonable deduction where your handling of returned goods goes beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning and causes a reduction in value.

We will not charge an administration or restocking fee for exercising a statutory cancellation right.

21. Faulty or Misdescribed Products

Products supplied by us must comply with applicable UK consumer law.

They must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality;

  • Fit for their usual purpose;

  • Fit for any particular purpose agreed with us;

  • As described; and

  • Consistent with any relevant sample or model.

Where a product does not comply, you may be entitled to remedies including:

  • Rejection and refund;

  • Repair;

  • Replacement;

  • Price reduction; or

  • Final rejection.

The applicable remedy will depend on the circumstances and the time that has passed since delivery.

Our Returns and Refunds Policy provides further information.

These Terms do not replace or restrict your statutory rights.

22. Product Care and Use

You must follow any product instructions, warnings, care labels and safety information supplied with the product.

We are not responsible for damage resulting solely from:

  • Use contrary to clear instructions;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Accidental damage after delivery;

  • Unauthorised alteration or repair;

  • Improper washing, storage or maintenance; or

  • Use for a purpose for which the product was not designed.

This section does not affect your rights where the product was already faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described or unsuitable for an agreed purpose.

23. Accounts

You may be able to place orders as a guest or create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information;

  • Keeping your login details confidential;

  • Using a secure password;

  • Restricting access to your device; and

  • Notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised activity.

You must not create an account using another person’s identity without permission.

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material breach of these Terms.

Closing an account will not affect accepted orders, existing payment obligations or statutory rights.

24. Reviews and Customer Content

Where the website allows you to submit a review, photograph, comment or other material, your submission must:

  • Reflect a genuine experience;

  • Be accurate to the best of your knowledge;

  • Relate to the relevant product or service;

  • Not be misleading;

  • Not infringe another person’s rights;

  • Not contain unlawful, abusive or discriminatory material;

  • Not disclose private information without permission; and

  • Not contain malware, advertising or spam.

You must disclose any payment, gift, discount, commercial relationship or other incentive connected to a review.

We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these requirements or applicable law.

We will not remove a genuine negative review merely because it is unfavourable.

We will not submit, commission or knowingly publish fake consumer reviews.

25. Permission to Use Submitted Content

You retain ownership of content you submit.

By submitting content intended for public display, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and format that content for the operation and promotion of Jhouky Jeks.

This permission lasts only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to legal record-retention requirements.

You confirm that you own the content or have the necessary permission to submit it.

Contact us if you wish to request removal of submitted content. We will consider the request in accordance with applicable law and our legitimate business needs.

26. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including its:

  • Brand name;

  • Logos;

  • Product photographs;

  • Graphics;

  • Written content;

  • Layout;

  • Design;

  • Software; and

  • Other materials

are owned by or licensed to Jhouky Jeks and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, scrape or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

No intellectual property rights are transferred to you by your use of the website or purchase of a product.

27. Third-Party Trade Marks

Product names, trade marks and logos belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance on our website does not necessarily indicate sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.

We must have the legal right to sell every branded product offered through the website.

Nothing in these Terms authorises the sale of counterfeit, unauthorised or infringing goods.

28. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may contain links to or integrate services provided by third parties, including:

  • Payment processors;

  • Delivery providers;

  • Analytics services;

  • Social media platforms; and

  • External websites.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites that we do not own or control.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party.

We remain responsible for our own obligations and cannot avoid a legal responsibility merely by using a third-party provider.

29. Privacy and Cookies

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

You should read both policies before using the website or placing an order.

Where consent is legally required for a particular cookie or form of data processing, we will request it separately.

Accepting these Terms does not automatically constitute consent to optional marketing or non-essential cookies.

30. Electronic Communications

When you place an order or contact us electronically, you agree that we may communicate with you by email or through the website regarding:

  • Order confirmations;

  • Payment;

  • Delivery;

  • Returns;

  • Customer support;

  • Security;

  • Legal notices; and

  • Changes relevant to an existing transaction.

Transaction-related communications are separate from marketing communications.

We will only send electronic marketing where we have a lawful basis to do so, and you may unsubscribe using the method provided in the communication.

31. Website Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the website, but no internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your devices and accounts.

You must not misuse the website by knowingly introducing malicious or technologically harmful material.

You should contact us promptly if you become aware of a suspected security issue involving your account or an order.

32. Our Responsibility to Consumers

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Loss or damage is foreseeable where:

  • It was an obvious consequence of our breach; or

  • Both you and we knew that it might occur when the contract was formed.

We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • Breach of your statutory rights;

  • Defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded; or

  • Any other matter for which liability cannot legally be limited.

33. Personal and Business Use

Products sold through the website are primarily supplied for personal and domestic use unless otherwise agreed.

Where you are acting as a consumer, we are not responsible for business losses, including:

  • Loss of profit;

  • Loss of revenue;

  • Loss of business;

  • Loss of opportunity; or

  • Business interruption.

This limitation does not apply where we expressly agreed before accepting the order that the product would be used for a specific business purpose.

34. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather;

  • Natural disasters;

  • Transport disruption;

  • Postal disruption;

  • War or civil disorder;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Failure of utilities or telecommunications;

  • Cyberattacks not caused by our failure to take reasonable care;

  • Supplier failure that could not reasonably have been avoided; or

  • Other comparable events.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and perform our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.

Where an event causes a substantial delay, you may have the right to cancel the affected order and receive a refund for products not supplied.

35. Complaints

Contact us first if you have a complaint so that we can attempt to resolve it.

Email: contact@JhoukyJeks.store

Please provide:

  • Your name;

  • Your order number;

  • A description of the issue;

  • The outcome you are seeking; and

  • Relevant supporting information.

We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising your statutory rights or seeking independent consumer advice.

36. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect:

  • Changes to the website;

  • Changes to our products or services;

  • Changes to our business operations;

  • Security requirements; or

  • Changes in applicable law.

The updated version will be published on the website with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not normally apply retrospectively to an order already accepted.

The version in force when your order was accepted will govern that order unless:

  • A change is required by law; or

  • You expressly agree to the change.

37. Transfer of Rights

We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation, provided that the transfer does not reduce your rights or materially affect the performance of the contract.

We will notify you where a transfer materially affects you.

You may transfer your rights where permitted by law or with our written agreement.

38. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

A delay in taking action does not prevent us from taking action later.

39. Severability

Each section of these Terms operates separately.

If a court or competent authority decides that a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Any affected provision will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted.

40. Third-Party Rights

Unless these Terms expressly state otherwise, a person who is not a party to the contract does not have the right to enforce it under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

This does not affect any right or remedy available independently of that Act.

41. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the documents expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and us concerning your use of the website and purchases from us.

Nothing in this section limits responsibility for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statements that cannot legally be excluded.

42. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and contracts formed through the website are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer residing in England or Wales, the laws of England and Wales will normally apply and proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer residing in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.

If you are a consumer residing in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.

If you live elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights under the laws applicable to your place of residence.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable consumer law.

43. Contact Information

Questions regarding these Terms should be sent to:

Jhouky Jeks
Website: JhoukyJeks.store
Email: contact@JhoukyJeks.store

44. Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or replaces any statutory right or legal remedy available to you.

If any provision conflicts with mandatory UK consumer law, the applicable law will prevail.
